More Birthday Celebrations.

Tuesday 28th August was Beryls Birthday. We had several outings to celebrate it.  On Sunday the 26th we went to the Ffolkes Arms at Hillington, near Sandringham, and enjoyed a meal and a drink in the evening, it was all very nice. After the meal we had a drive to Hunstanton and saw a lovely sunset over the sea. It was a pity that I did not have my camera but we still enjoyed it.

On the Monday we had a trip to Felbrig Hall, National Trust Property, and had a picnic in the park, was really lovely, lots of people doing the same. Weather was good although there was a bit of a chilly wind at times. After our picnic we looked round the gardens which I must say were very good. All the National Trust Properties we have visited so far have superb gardens. We then toured the house which dates back to the 15th century and was well worth a visit. A most enjoyable trip.  In the evening we enjoyed yet another celebration, the marriage of James Van Wijk and Rachel Slough at Dunston Hall, near Norwich. It was a good night, James and Jennie and our granddaughters Amie and Bethany were there, they had been there for the whole of the wedding. Chris and Lynn were also there in the evening. Beryl’s highlight was dancing with our granddaughters, mainly to Elvis music, and also meeting the Wolf, Michael Van Wijk, who starred in the the Gladiators show which used to be on the TV. Congratulations to Jim and Rachel we enjoyed our time with you.

Tuesday-Beryl’s Birthday- James and Jennie plus Amie and Bethany took Beryl to the Ffolkes Arms once more and enjoyed a meal with them at lunch time. All very enjoyable once more. After returning home to Swaffham spent some more time with them till I arrived home from work, they spent a little time with me before going home.

Beryl really enjoyed her Birthday celebrations, had lots of cards and some nice presents. Thanks to everyone for these and for spending your time with me! A Birthday to remember!
