Christmas Lunch With The Family.
Today Beryl and I enjoyed Christmas lunch with James and Jennie, our Grandchildren Amie and Bethany, and Jennie’s parents Chris and Lynn. We arrived at 2.15pm and enjoyed a superb lunch at 3.00pm. We had the traditional turkey, but this was flavoured by citrus fruits which made it taste extra special. This was accompanied by roast potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrot and red onion, red cabbage,peas, yorkshire puddings , stuffing and gravy. Sorry if I missed anything out! This turned out to be the best of Christmas lunches by Jennie, well done it was absolutely superb! We all enjoyed red or white wine with the meal and had crackers as well, wore the hat told the jokes, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
After lunch we gave and recieved our presents, thanks to you all, watched a bit of telly, played a game , fell asleep, had more wine and tea before leaving for home at 6.30ish. Thanks for a lovelly day we really enjoyed it, and the photo’s of the children enjoying the scooter we gave to Amie show how much they enjoyed it too.
