Lunch with David and Family.
Today we arranged to have lunch at Dunston Hall with David, Beryl’s nephew, who is visiting from Australia. His mum, Beryl’s sister Ivy, is terminally ill with lung cancer and is in a nursing home in Caister-on-Sea. We were joined by James and Jennie, our grandaughters Amie and Bethany, and Pat, Beryl’s neice. We all enjoyed a carvery meal followed by a sweet, all very tasty. There was plenty of chat with David, mainly catching up on events, took some photo’s, then went back to Jame’s and Jennie’s for a cuppa. David gave us all a framed photo that he had taken in Australia, ours was of Alice Springs which we were pleased with. It’s now hanging in our lounge. We also gave David some Photo,s, said our goodbye’s to David as he will be heading home for Australia on Monday and left for home around 4.00 pm.
