A Happy Day with Jennie and our Grandchildren.
Today we had a lovely day out with Jennie and our two grandcchildren Amie and Bethany. After picking Amie up from her Nursery School we went for lunch at the Marsh Harrier on the Ipswich road. Once seated we ordered lunch which was Scampi and Chips for Beryl, Amie and Bethany, while Jennie and I had a Chicken dish complimented with a drink. The girls had ice-cream to follow, and all of us seemed to enjoy our meal. The girls were very good and ate most of theirs which was pleasing to see.
After lunch we left for Notcutts to see their Winter Wonderland, which obviousy was very enjoyable for the girls to see all the Christmas Decorations etc. Before leaving this department Beryl bought the girls a cuddly Snowman soft toy. They also enjoyed seeing the pets, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds etc. We left for Jennie’s around 3.15pm, stopped for a short time before leaving for home.
We had a really enjoyable day, it gave us all a lot of pleasure, an early Christmas treat for the girls, and I am sure we will repeat this again next year. It’s a lovely time of year, and I am sure James and Jennie will make the best of these times while the children are young, they seem to grow up so quickly.
