A Visit to Nottingham.
Today we decided to visit Nottingham, we left around 9.30am and arrived an hour later. We decided to park-and-ride once again as it is much easier, so we parked at the Phoenix Centre at Nottingham, it’s four miles from the Town centre, and were surprised to find that it was a Tram system taking you to Town, not busses as at Derby. They were really super, it only cost £2.20 per car which was excellent value. When we arrived in Town it was raining, but after talking to people on the tram they had told where to go for shopping. It was an undercover Centre plenty of well known shops, John Lewis, M & S, Boots etc. We really enjoyed our day, had some lunch there, spent some money, mainly on Beryl, before returning home at 4.00 pm via the Tram, then car ride home, about 1hr. A Good day was had by us both!
