BERYL’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS!
Today is Beryl’s —- Birthday so we invited James, Jennie, Amie and Bethany over to Swaffham to have lunch at the George Hotel. We booked for 1-00pm to have lunch in the Green Room, a carvery, roast beef, from the best butcher in Norfolk, so it needed no reccomendation, with veggies and Yorkies. Was all very tasty. James and his Mum had sorbet, 3 flavours, blackcurrant, mango and lemon, Jennie and myself having apple and raspberry crumble with custard, and our two little grandaughters had some vanilla icecream. Bethany tried some of Daddies blackcurrant, the look on her face said it all, it was a bit sharp! We were pleased to see both the children enjoyed their food and were amazed to see how well behaved they are. It’s a credit to both Mum and Dad.
Beryl would like to thank James and Jennie for her gift, flowers and card, very pleased thankyou, not forgetting the special card made by Amie. Aren’t you a clever girl.
