A DAY IN BURY ST. EDMUNDS.
As it is Beryl’s birthday on Bank Holiday Monday 28th, I promised we would have a day out to Bury today. The weather was nice and sunny so off we went around 10 am and arrived at around 11.00am as it was a pain getting parked, as the car park we usually use was closed. After going round the Town twice we ended up parking at Waitrose supermarket, walked into Town to have alook round and buy lunch at M & S to eat for dinner in the Abbey Gardens. We sat on a bench to have lunch, joined by the squirrels, before looking round the Gardens, which were once again magnificent, and looking in the Cathederal shop. We had a super day before journeying home at around 2.00pm as it was then starting to rain.
We had a really super day, it’s Beryl’s favourite place to go.
