Update on Beryl.

Today we went to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Kings Lynn as Beryl had an appointment at 11.00am for more test’s, mainly to go on the treadmill to see how her heart worked under stress. Beryl was very pleased that she could complete the test and they were very pleased with her, they checked her heart rate, pulse and blood pressure as she was doing the test’s and told her that there was no problem that they could see. When she came out to see me after the test’s and told me the news I was more than pleased as you can well imagine. Beryl had to sit and rest for 20 minutes before they would let her travel home, needless to say we were both very pleased with the outcome.

On the Saturday Beryl had a letter from Mr. George, the Heart Consultant, saying that all the tests were positive and that this should reassure that everthing will be allright. Beryl has an under active thoriod gland which will need to be treated as from the 29th August, once on these tablets her health should improve further, leaving her to have some blood test’s done before seeing Mr. George on the 22nd November. Hopefully this will at last put her in the clear again.
