A Surprise Visit.

Jennie, Lynn, and our grandchildren Amie and Bethany came to visit us today at Swaffham. It was a real surprise, we had such a lovely time with them all and it cheered up Beryl no end as she had not been feeling to well for most of the week. They arrived arround 11.40 am and after a little chat and a drink we had lunch outside in the garden, ham or cheese rolls with salad etc, jelly for the children and fondant fancy cakes which all enjoyed. Amie had fun watering the flowers in their pots, and both Amie and Bethany enjoyed playing in a bowl of water, it cooled them down a bit as the weather was really hot. Both enjoyed this especially Bethany, I also took some photo’s which were quite nice. It was good to see Bethany was crawling, and that Amie was feeling better after having chicken pox, although the spots were still quite evident. They left about 2.30 pm for home as Jennie and James were going to the pictures.

I thankyou all for coming, it has really cheered Beryl up, and gave us both some nice enjoyment. I have been on holiday this week which has been good for Beryl as I am sure she gets a bit lonely when she is on her own all day while I am at work. Just having someone to talk to for a while does her good and cheers her up a bit.
