Pre-Season Friendlies for Norwich.
Wednesday 12th July saw Norwich play their first friendly of the season against Fakenham Town, although it was against lowly opposition at least it was a win by 4-0. It was an enjoyable game for the Fakenham players to a sell-out crowd at their newly improved ground.
Saturday saw Norwich play their second friendly at Cambridge United, although it was again against lower opposition, it seemed to be an entertaing game with Norwich winning 3-1. It was good to see Norwich score some goals in these first two games let’s hope when it comes to the Season proper they can keep this winning formula and not leak goals like they did last season. No new signings yet, but at least Nigel Worthing seems happy with team performances so far. Lets hope it can continue, the fans expect more from Norwich this season and are rated by the bookies to at least reach the play-offs. Lets hope that we are not dissapointed as Nigel has to prove he can still produce the form from the same players if no new arrivals come.
