England start with a WIN!
England started their World Cup campaign with a 1-0 win against Paraquay. By all accounts it wasn’t a pretty game but at least it was a win which put 3 points on the board. Sweden and Trinidad and Tobago played out a 0-0 draw so it leaves England top of the group. Englands next game against Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday leaves them in a good position to being in the last 16 if they manage to win, leaving with what should be their hardest game against Sweden. If they get a draw which is a probable result, they will be top of their group.
