World Cup 2006. Engerland- Engerland !
Today sees the start of the World Cup and as expected Germany beat Costa Rica 4-2 much to the delight of the German fans. It was an entertaining game, the Germans seem to be good on attacking but seem weaker in defence. My guess is that they will still be in the last four as they always seem to do well in competitions.
Saturday sees England play Paraguay in their opening game, predictions are England to win 3-1 (Beryl) and England to win 2-0 (Richard). Let’s hope it’s a win anyway, because that’s what we need. Come on England all your fans expect a good performance! Don’t let us down!

Can this be England’s year, let’s hope so, the pundits think it is our best chance for several years.
