A Family Visit.
James, Jennie and our granddaughters Amie and Bethany visit us for lunch. Beryl was discharged from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday 25th May at 12.00pm, needless to say she was delighted to be coming home and was more than pleased to see our dogs, Harry and Robbie. Once home she received many cards and flowers from Family, friends and neighbours. To date she has had 16 cards, 6 boquets of flowers, a box of chocolates and a bowl of fruit. Thankyou to everyone!
Back to the family visit, Beryl was so pleased to see James, Jennie and our grandchildren it really cheered her up. We all enjoyed a Sunday lunch of roast chicken, plus all the trimmings. Followed by strawberries and cream or toffee cheesecake, or both as they were so delicious. Plus jelly and icecream for Amie and Bethany. Beryl was still feeling very weak and had to lie down for awhile, but nevertheless enjoyed it. Hopefully we will visit them soon if Beryl is feeling better. We had a lovely day, thankyou for coming!
